Throwdown Thursday

So much for a little momentum. Just when I thought the fund was heading in the right direction, we hit a road block. We take three steps forward and then we take two steps back. In the land of vig, that's not an acceptable proposition. Pittsburgh was unable to cover thanks to DeJuan Blair's foul trouble (something we've touched on previously). Missouri started slowly and was never able to recover against Kansas St.

That's why God created Throwdown Thursday...or at least ESPN. Tonight we're taking Minnesota +1 vs. Illinois. Minnesota has played well at home and their all around guard play is superior to Illinois'. I also like California +10 @ UCLA. UCLA hasn't been as good defensively this year without Russell Westbrook. I expect Cal's three-point shooting to keep them in this affair.
