Step Up Saturday

After Thursday's proclamation to bet more on what I'm actually seeing on the court, the picks went 1-1. Some see that as mediocrity, I see it as progress given how things started this season. Xavier made things closer than they should've been, but they pulled it out. Purdue didn't show up til the 2nd half, unfortunately, leading to a losing proposition.

Once again we have a full Saturday schedule, but The Doctor isn't around to challenge me with picks. I like Syracuse -3.5 vs. Notre Dame because the Irish just aren't as good on the road. I like Oklahoma -3.5 @ Texas A&M because A&M hasn't really played anyone other than Baylor and they might be riding too high off that win. Blake Griffin should run over the Aggies. Finally I like Miami +16.5 @ UNC because the spread seems a tad off to me. Miami's rounding into form and they deserve a little more respect.
